This antique Louis-Napoleon Prince Imperial Memorial CDV photo by Elliot & Fry is a rare and valuable addition to any collection. The photo features a portrait of the Prince Imperial, the only child of Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie. The Prince Imperial tragically died at the young age of 23 in the Anglo-Zulu War, making this memorial photo a poignant and historical piece. The CDV format was popular in the 19th century and was often used for portraits of notable figures, making this photo both a beautiful and historically significant piece of art.  Measures roughly 2.5" x 4" and has some age related fading but overall in good condition. and would make a unique and cherished addition to any collection.
